Soneva Jani is located on Medhufaru Island within a 5.6 km lagoon in the Noonu Atoll. The resort offers both overwater and island villas. Each water villa opens to its own section of the lagoon and includes a private pool. A retractable roof in the master bedroom allows for stargazing, and some villas feature slides from the top floor into the lagoon. All villas contain a spacious master bedroom with an adjoining children's sleeping area, an open-air bathroom with a bathtub and shower that has lagoon access, a walk-in mini-bar with an espresso machine, and a private wine cellar. An outdoor deck with seating, sun loungers, and direct lagoon access is also provided. The main facilities are housed at The Gathering, a three-story structure containing the main dining outlets, an Observatory, a Spa, a gift shop, and a water sports and dive center. Other amenities include an overwater silent cinema, a tennis court, labyrinth gardens, and a Children's Den on the main island. Several dining options and cuisines are available, along with complimentary access to a cheese room, chocolate room, and ice-cream room. The property is accessible via a 40-minute seaplane flight from Male International Airport or a one-hour speedboat ride from Soneva Fushi.
