Locanda Dell'Angelo is situated on the border of Tuscany and Liguria. This stylish building is set among green fields and is close to the ancient ruins of the Roman town of Luni. It is about an hour's drive from Pisa and its leaning tower, the walls of Lucca, and historic Florence. Italian designer Vico Magistretti envisioned the structure as a mirror reflecting the white of the Apuan Alps and the blue of the Ligurian Sea. Reflecting this concept, the interiors are decorated with works by contemporary artists. The extensive garden features olive trees and Mediterranean oaks. The swimming pool is made of marble and includes a hydromassage area.
