Built in 1881, the family-run Hotel Alpenrose is the oldest hotel in the car-free Wengen, which is only reachable by train, and offers completely renovated rooms in a traditional Alpine style and free WiFi. The hotel is located in the calmer lower part of the village with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and the Lauterbrunnental valley.
