The Benson Hotel officially opened on July 1, 2021, having taken over a previous hotel. The entire property has been revitalized, from its external facade and lobby to the deco-inspired restaurant and bar on the third floor, which overlooks the city skyline. A stage one refresh of the existing guest rooms has added new carpet, curtains, paint, and 55-inch smart TVs in the bathrooms, with furnishings to be refurbished in stage two in the coming months. Situated in the heart of the central business district, the hotel is a five-minute walk from the Convention Center, Reef Casino, reef departure terminals, Esplanade Lagoon, and the Promenade. Free WiFi is provided. For active guests, activities like canoeing and horseback riding are available. The area can also be explored with a rented bicycle or car. The bar is open Tuesday to Saturday. The Benson Bar & Restaurant blends relaxation and sophistication, offering a range of cocktails, modern dining, and local delicacies. Breakfast is served daily from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. The bar opens from 3 p.m. until late on Friday and Saturday, while the restaurant serves meals from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Outdoor seating is available to enjoy the tropical climate.
