This traditional Swiss chalet hotel is situated in the center of Lauterbrunnen in the Jungfrau Ski Region, just a 7-minute walk from the Train Station. Hotel Schützen Lauterbrunnen was renovated in 2013 and offers a cozy restaurant with an open fireplace and a garden terrace. In winter, the family-run restaurant provides a relaxing, homely Swiss atmosphere. During summer, the garden terrace offers superb mountain views. A breakfast buffet with local specialties is available for a surcharge, and Swiss à la carte dishes are served in the evening. Winter guests benefit from ski-to-door access from Schilthorn and Mürren, with cable cars from Grütschalp and Stechelberg returning guests to the Lauterbrunnen valley. The famous 311-yard Staubbach waterfall is visible from the hotel. A bus stop is located in front of the restaurant. The restaurant is open all day. The hotel was refreshed again in 2025 to improve guest comfort while maintaining its authentic Alpine character.
