The Pied Bull dates from 1155 and is located within the walls of the Roman city of Chester. It has its own microbrewery and bar serving a wide selection of ales, wines, and beers. Nearby car parks provide parking. All rooms have private bathrooms and are equipped with a work area, TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. The on-site restaurant serves freshly prepared food, using locally sourced ingredients where possible, with a menu including fresh fish and steaks. This traditional coaching inn is on the west side of Northgate Street, just past the Town Hall and near Chester Market. It was the winner of the CH1 Chester Bid Customer Service Award for Best Hotel/B&B in 2019.
