Maribel is Sierra Nevada’s alpine style chalet, offering high-altitude fun on and off the piste for families, friends, and winter sports enthusiasts. It is a sophisticated ski-in/ski-out lifestyle hotel located at 7.4 feet, with direct access to the Maribel and Águila slopes. The hotel features 29 alpine-inspired rooms and suites, including the signature Maribel Penthouse Suite. Guests can enjoy a blend of sport, wellness, and dining. Maribel’s lounge and bar, with a ski-in/ski-out outdoor terrace, provides a unique après ski atmosphere, while Maribel's restaurant offers a ‘dining club’ experience with an alpine flavor. There is also a Nordic-inspired spa for relaxation. Guests can enjoy a selection of items from the mini-bar. The guest rooms and suites are alpine-inspired, most with balconies and panoramic piste views. They have playful names and duplex suites are available for families or small groups. Interiors feature Finnish wood, leather furniture, faux-fur throws, plush king beds, seating areas, floor-to-ceiling wardrobes for ski gear, Chromecast Smart TVs, and heated wooden floors. Bathrooms include rain-fall showers, spa baths, Natura Bissé toiletries, and signature bathrobes and slippers. Upon arrival, guests are greeted by an elliptical staircase in the hotel lobby. The open-plan library, bar, and lounge areas merge into a single space. The outdoor terrace, a sun-kissed deck with access to the Maribel and Aguila slopes, is ideal for hot chocolate and sundowners. Maribel's restaurant serves hearty dishes and mountain favorites in a relaxed and entertaining atmosphere. Stevani & Silva designed the bar and restaurant with dark and warm tones, velvet textures, a gold leaf bar, a snake-shaped sofa, and hanging fireplaces. Maribel is situated in Sierra Nevada with direct piste access, named after the adjacent ski run. It is 164 feet from the chairlift at Parador No. 1 and close to its sister hotel, El Lodge. The hotel is in the ski village of Sierra Nevada national park, which has one of the most extensive ski areas in southern Europe, with 68 mi of skiable slopes and 131 runs. The resort also features the Snow Park for freestyle boarders and skiers, and trails for cross country skiing. An in-house ski hire boutique is available for guests. The spa has two treatment rooms, a Turkish steam room, a sauna, and a large hot tub on the deck. The Sierra Nevada ski resort is a 45-minute transfer from Granada International Airport and 2 hours from Malaga International Airport and Marbella.
