The Hotel Bernina Hospiz is situated at 2309 metres altitude on the Bernina pass. It features a terrace with glacier views, a cosy Italian restaurant and free internet. From June to November, it is easily reached by the legendary Bernina Express train from Chur, Celerina and St. Moritz. Free car parking is available on site, with garage parking for a surcharge. The hotel has a rustic 'Stübli' for events and meetings, a common room with TV, and a play room with a flipper and table football. Within a 5-minute drive is the Diavolezza/Lagalb ski area, and a huge network of cross-country tracks between Pontresina, Maloja and Zernez is available. The Ospizio Bernina is also a great base for snow kiters and for ski or hiking tours, having hosted several professional athletes and teams for high-altitude training.
