The Windsor Trooper is an 18th century public house and inn with 9 cosy rooms. It is just a short walk from the town centre and the castle, making it a perfect location for sightseeing, a mini break, or business. Located in the heart of the residential part of town, it provides the best of everything Windsor has to offer. This popular pub offers a warm welcome for a drink in the pub or its sun trap garden. The bar stocks a fine selection of ales, traditional cider, Belgian beers, wine, and gins. Live music is held every Thursday, with a quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month. The pub opens daily from 11am and does not offer breakfast. It is the proud winner of the Slough, Windsor & Maidenhead CAMRA Real Cider Pub of the Year for 2022 and 2023, consistently offering 10 traditional ciders. All rooms have private entrances, ensuite shower rooms with toiletries, tea/coffee facilities, and TV.
