This friendly, independent family-run hotel, owned by the same family as Chester House Guest House next door, is within walking distance of Chester's city centre. It offers free parking, free WiFi in public areas, a bar, an outside terrace, and comfortable, upmarket, refurbished en-suite rooms. Located in Hoole village, known for its boutique shops, bars, and award-winning restaurants, The Chester House Hotel, previously Chester Court Hotel, is just 1 mile from the historic Roman City of Chester. Originally built in 1880, the main house retains much of its original Victorian character. Guests can relax in the impressive drawing room or enjoy a drink in the recently refurbished bar with outside seating. From April 2025, guests will be able to enjoy fine dining, afternoon teas, or simple snacks with the completion of an extended dining room and a new courtyard. Function facilities for up to 100 guests will be available at Chester Court and Chester House from May 2025. Some rooms are located outside the main building in the outer courtyard; these are all on the ground level and allow guests to park their cars close to the front door. A traditional full English breakfast, along with extended continental options including a wide selection of fruits and pastries, is offered. Gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, and halal options are available upon request.
