Svalereden Strand Camping is situated directly on the Kattegat coast, located 10 km south of Frederikshavn and a mere 3.5 km from the picturesque town of Sæby. This campsite offers a serene seaside environment with direct access to the beach, making it an ideal destination for a tranquil holiday experience for families, couples, or friends. Guests can choose from three distinct cottage options: Standard “Retro” Cottages can accommodate up to 5 guests. These comfortable cabins do not feature running water or private bathrooms; guests will utilize the campsite’s modern shared service buildings. Dogs are permitted in these cottages.LUX1 Cottages are designed for up to 5 guests and come with a private bathroom and two separate bedrooms. Dogs are welcome in these cottages. The LUX2 Cottage is larger, suitable for up to 6 guests, and includes two bedrooms, a loft area, and a private bathroom. Please note that dogs are not allowed in this specific cottage. The campsite is equipped with modern service buildings, a communal kitchen, and recreational facilities such as mini golf, table tennis, beach volleyball, and mooncars. Furthermore, exceptional hiking and cycling routes commence just outside the campsite, providing excellent opportunities for nature enthusiasts and active visitors.A shop on site provides essential groceries, beer, and wine. Freshly baked bread is available on weekends during the spring and daily throughout the high summer season until October. Nearby attractions and activities include the town center and marina of Sæby, which are accessible by walking or cycling within approximately 3.5 km. Skagen is reachable for a day trip, located about 50 km away. Family oriented attractions such as Fårup Sommerland, a one hour drive away, and the North Sea Oceanarium in Hirtshals, a 45 minute drive away, are also conveniently accessible.
